Allmänt
The Focusrite RedNet MP8R offers the ability to convert eight XLR inputs, each equipped with a high-quality microphone preamp for genuine high-end performance, to a digital Dante signal. It's these preamps combined with excellent A/D conversion that results in a huge dynamic range, an extremely flat frequency response and optimal gain performance. The gain compensation gives way to surprisingly flexible work flows when it comes to powering up network transmitters to split the preamp across multiple microphones. On the face of the RedNet MP8R, you'll find six segmented status LEDs that provide a clear overview of the different signals and settings.
RedNet: Powered by Dante
Based on the Dante audio-over-IP protocol, Focusrite's own RedNet delivers crystal-clear audio with barely any latency and has the level of scalability and versatility needed to operate in large studios, massive concert halls, and even gargantuan arenas. In addition, the use of the Dante protocol removes the fuss of a whole bunch of cables, since all the data can be transferred using a single CAT 5e/6 cable.
